CONTACT, also known as the CONTACT Information and Referral Centre, is a free information and referral centre which provides a friendly place to obtain information on just about anything. If a student has a question, they can answer it. If they can't they will refer the student on to someone who can. CONTACT is staffed by student volunteers who have a wide knowledge of campus and are always happy to answer questions. They also provide support and resources for students, and students can pick up free condoms and tampons, free publications, and access literature on a wide range of topics.

Volunteering at CONTACT
You can be a CONTACT volunteer. CONTACT is staffed by trained students who each give 1 hour of their week to answer enquiries. Get trained in campus knowledge, student services, Arc information, customer service, looking after students at risk, finding and utilising resources, and answering a broad range of enquiries with confidence.
Send expressions of interest to contact@arc.unsw.edu.au. Preference is usually given to students who have completed at least one semester of study so if you're just starting uni keep your eye out in Blitz for when Semester 2 applications open. Volunteer applications close Thursday Week 1, 4 March 2010.
