The UNSW Whitlam Club is a centre-left, progressive political club affiliated with Young Labor Left. Our purpose is to help new members articulate their political ideas and views by way of organising interesting political events both on and off campus, and to introduce them to the broader labor movement. .
In the wake of Barack Obama’s stunning reinvigoration of politics and the recoil of the apathy that has washed through society for too long, we hope that young Australians see political involvement as being worthwhile of their time
Who could possibly conceive the damage a bumbling, ‘dispassionate’ fool like Barnaby Joyce would do to Australia and the creation of rational policy?.......
So if you feel strongly about some of the most pressing political, moral and social issues of our time, please drop by our stall and have a chat with a few like-minded people!
